Indicator 7: Classifies Triangles (2.4.K1h)
Activity Instructions: Watch Tim and Moby video first. Then have students take Cornell notes on how to name triangles by sides and angles as you go through slides 4-9. Next select students to come to the smartboard to do the interactive keyword match on slide 10 and multiple choice slide 11. Finally select students to come up and draw examples for slides to assess their learning.

4. Triangles are named by SIDES
In an equilateral triangle, all sides are congruent.

5. Triangles are named by SIDES
A scalene triangle has no congruent sides.

6. Triangles are named by SIDES
An isosceles triangle has at least 2 congruent sides.

An obtuse triangle has exactly one obtuse angle.

In an acute triangle, all of the angles are acute.
