1 Monolithic Solid Bullets
By Brandon Butschek MEEN 3344 Material Science

2 What is a Monolithic Solid Bullet?
It is a bullet that is made to travel in a straight path inside an animal. It is a copper alloy. It is approximately 61.5% copper, 35% zinc 0.5% tin, and 3% lead. The bullet gains most of its strength from the homogeneity of the alloy.

3 Monolithic Solid Bullet

4 Conventional Bullets They can break up and deform inside the animal.
This can make the bullet move off target and not humanely kill the animal.

5 Monolithic Solid Bullets
It will hold its shape and it will better travel in a straight path.

6 Advantages/Disadvantages
It is able to hold its shape and it will not pierce steel plate. Weight? The monolithic solid bullet costs about twice as much a conventional bullet.
