2 History Christian Huygens saw Saturn in 1659 with a telescope.
It got it’s name by Roman Mythology.

3 Solar System Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun.
The distance is from the sun is 888,615,000 miles away. The rotation is 66 hours.

4 Moons There are 53 official moons and 9 unofficial moons which means there are 62 moons in total. There are 2 moons that have names: Titan and Tethys.

5 Planet appearance Saturn is a gas giant or a gas planet.
Very yellow and is very big. It is the second largest planet in the solar system. This photo was taken from space.

6 Rings The rings are very long and are known to be 1000 miles around.
