Designed To Address Two Questions
Inventory Advisor What needs attention today? What to Order? Designed around the two simple concepts - “What is Wrong”, and “What to Order”. After many years of teaching clients the complexities of other systems, we found that ultimately all they wanted to know was which products needed action today, and what order was needed to be placed today. remove the “bells and whistle” features that are often never used offering an affordable cloud based system. Tools to display inventory levels/stock and non-stock status, and what needs ordering, forecast what is selling and policy tools By focusing on these two fundamental aspects of inventory management we are able to reduce the complexity and, in order to To determine what is wrong and What to order, the three fundamental inputs are required: Classification, Forecasting and Policy. Under classification, we need to give the product an identity, thus defining the sku in terms of its stocked and non-stocked status as well as its ranking of importance if it is stocked. Under Forecasting we need to determine what we think we are going sell, and finally under Policy we need to associate management’s stocking policies with our inventory, in other words how much safety stock is needed for each sku. What do I mean by diagnostics? - ….lost sales, surplus orders, and supplier delivery performance. Essentially, you understand the advanced analytics behind your inventory. Where should I pay my attention today – what do I need to order Before you can forecast and manage your inventory, you need to know the answers to these questions: How much is it worth, do I have more than I need, what sales am I losing because I don’t have enough, who takes too long to deliver products to me? an easy to use cloud based interface. Forecasting Sales analysis Stock availability: risk of stock outs or surplus Multiple algorithms: seasonality, history and trends Once we have diagnostics settled Sage Inventory Advisory allows us to take a look at forecasting. Forecasting helps analyze sales patterns and the desired stock availability letting you know if there is a risk of stock-outs, a risk of surplus, or other early warnings and alerts. Making sure that you’re properly forecasting an item helps to make sure you have the right amount of stock in at all times, reducing the amount of capital tied up in stock. Sage Inventory Advisor uses multiple algorithms to develop the best forecast for your product It takes into account seasonality, history, and trends and allows you to adjust the forecast where you see fit.

Demonstration Now that we’ve gone through the overview and looked at some of the features, let’s take a look at Sage Budgeting and Planning. Keep in mind that what I will show is just one way things can be done. If your organization works differently that’s okay as all the examples shown can be customized to meet the direct needs of your organization.
