1 Cavity-Compton Regular Meeting design report summary
1st Nov H.Shimizu

2 Time Table for Our Exp. Installation during this summer shutdown
(our first plan) → have missed Installation in the end of this year (second option) → seems very hard Installation during two week shutdown on February. (sovereign !!!) → still not safety !?

3 Far Away from the Starting Point of real Exp.
Today’s topics ○ Design report (CM calc.) ○ New Laser inspection

19 Estimation was done including
○pumps (elbows) ○chamber (cavity also) ○laser ○lead blocks (barrier)

20 Looks so unstable. → Need some counter blocks.

21 The center of mass estimation
Pump(1) : 50kg [-280,550] Pump(2) : 50kg [130,640] Chamber : 300kg [0,250] Laser : 30kg [400,-400] Lead-block : 110kg [600,-300]

22 Locate the cm inside of this area using some
counter lead-blocks

23 Our Game Two Assumptions ● Using ‘M’ kg lead as a counter block
Our Game Two Assumptions ● Using ‘M’ kg lead as a counter block ● Center of Counter mass [-50,-100] Gx < 200 & Gy < 50 How many blocks ? How to place ? Check the stability itself .

24

25 X-axis constraint Could obtain just only a trivial condition

26 Y-axis constraint The needed mass could be fixed.

27 Height : h = 0.23[m] Estimate with M ~ 420kg
Density of Pb : kg/m^3 Assume 0.4×0.4 square block Height : h = 0.23[m]

29 10W Laser Property Test Wave Length → 1064nm Out-Put Power → 10W
Power Stability → <0.1% Frequency → 357MHz Polarization → 500:1 Timing Jitter → 0.4psec Pulse Width → 12psec M-Square → <1.1

31 Need more progress to the ILC era
Conclusion Still on a half way of R&D February installation Move to physical analysis ASAP. Need more progress to the ILC era
