2. Use of subannual administrative data Situation in Germany
- Administrative Data Use Act in 2003
- Monthly Access to two data sources:
Turnover data from the fiscal authorities
Persons employed from the Federal Employment office
- Extensive tests of the data for STS purposes
- Data can be used in principle for STS in several fields : service sector, craft, installation, wholesale, sale of motor vehicles

3. Components of the Data Warehouse
- Turnover Database: Storage of the turnover tax data from the fiscal authorities (key: tax number)
- Persons employed Database: Storage of the data from the Federal employment office (key: local unit number)
- Integrated System of data editing for STS : Central role of the Business Register as controlling tool and source for additional information on the data
