Dec. 20- Christmas program 7pm at Central arrive at 6:45
Dec. 21- Dismiss at 2:20 after Class Christmas Parties
Dec Jan 4- No school - Jan 7th- School Reconvenes
This week in math we will continue to work on our math fact fluency up to 20. You can practice this at home with flashcards and also working on memorizing doubles (ex. 2+2, 3+3, 4+4 etc.) We we also begin working on place value.
This week in reading we will read An Egg is an Egg and work on the vowel sound of y and long vowels cv words. We will work on comparing and contrasting and predicting.
We will continue our Christmas Around the World unit this week and learn about traditions in Mexico, Sweden, Germany and many more!
We are beginning our Lucy Calkin’s unit on informational writing.
