1. 1950s Civil Rights Movement
A technology assignment

E.S., C.O.: Analyze the political issues and conflicts that impacted the U.S. and resulted in the 1950s Civil Rights Movement.

2. Purpose:
Students will use a computer technology resource to “bring to life to,” animate and “make interesting” at least three (3) topics related to the 1950s Civil Rights Movement you learned about over the last few class sessions.
Students will show their creativity, imagination and analyses regarding this important time period in U.S. history. Students may choose to add music or additional information if desired.

3. Directions:
Students may use MS Power point, Prezi, or Animoto to illustrate their understanding of a minimum of three (3) topics (of students’ choice) from the chart addressing the 1950s Civil Rights Movement.
Your submission must contain at least three (3) images or videos for each topic students select.
The information that is provided should be drawn from the question charts students completed over the course of the episodes of Eyes on the Prize.
