2. The C-WPAN Standard Group

Until Nov, 06, there are over 30 Chinese companies, universities and research institutes to being the voting member. Over 10 foreign companies have been members or applied to be the members now.
The approval procedure is pending by China National Information Technology Standardization Committee. Possible to be approved in the end of 2006.

3. The Important Tech Updating
The Radio Regulation and measurement procedure of LR-WPAN operation are confirmed.
The MFSK Modulation and DSSS coding communication proposals have been accepted in the PHY layer of Chinese WPAN Standard (C-WPAN) Draft
The MAC layer of C-WPAN is confirmed. The major structures, primitives and operation procedure is similar to MAC layer of IEEE The different is on the CSMA/CA operation.
The Security issues does not have the reasonable solution

4. The Cooperation with IEEE802.15.4
The cooperation with IEEE has been encouraged
Dr. Bob Heile had visited BJ and have an important discussion with C-WPAN.
On the past C-WPAN meeting, the C-WPAN expects more cooperation with IEEE C group.
