2. Full stops are used at the end of a sentence usually a statement.
Full stops show that the sentence has a complete thought that has ended.
Full stops are also used in abbreviations eg as soon as possible = A.S.A.P.

Capital letters are used for all proper nouns including people’s names, places, streets, titles etc.

Capital letters can also be used to make IMPACT when writing.

Speech marks are put around what has been said.
