THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST
A UNIQUE BIRTH Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall name him Emmanuel, which means ‘God is with us’. (Matthew 1:23) An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1:20)

THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST
A UNIQUE PERSON In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not one thing came into being And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen His glory, the glory as of the Father’s only son, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-3a, 14) The Father and I are one. (John 10:30) For in Him (i.e. Jesus) the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily. (Colossians 2:9) For this reason the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him because He was not only breaking the sabbath, but was also calling God His Father, thereby making Himself equal to God. (John 5:18)

THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST
A UNIQUE LIFE They made His grave with the wicked and His tomb with the rich, although He had done no violence and there was no deceit in His mouth. (Isaiah 53:9) He committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth; when He was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. (1 Peter 2:22-23) In Him there is no sin. (1 John 3:5b) Which of you convicts Me of sin? (John 8:46) Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd “I find no fault in this man”. (Luke 23:4)

THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST
A UNIQUE DEATH One of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them “You know nothing at all. You do not understand that it is better for you to have one man die for the people than to have the whole nation destroyed.” He did not say this on his own , but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus was about to die for that nation; and not for the nation only, but to gather into one the dispersed children of God. So from that day on they planned to put Him to death. (John 11:49-53)

THE UNIQUENESS OF CHRIST
A UNIQUE OFFER Come to Me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28) I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. (John 10:10) I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. (John 10:28) For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17) The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:23)
