3. ENTRY TASK What is the difference between personality and character?
Personality is a gift set by age 6 and character is who you are built on the thousands of choices you make every day.
Stage 4 of Character Development is Unconscious & Unskilled, what does that mean?
It means I have practiced so much I don’t even have to think about it because it is who I am and a habit.

5. TODAY YOU WILL… Identify your dominate personality trait(s).
Recognize a strength and a weakness of each of the four main personality types.
Understand that someone can still choose to work on different personality type by putting their character in to action.

6. Personality Types: Circle of life survey
Complete the Circle of Life Survey on your own
Follow the directions, but make sure to:
Only use 4….3….2….1 once across each row
Refer to the definition page for words you do not know
When done, add up each vertical column and circle the numeric total at the bottom of each column
Looking at your column totals, determine which dominate color(s) you are.
Find your color on the pie chart

7. PERSONALITY CORNERS
Walk to the corner of your most dominate personality color
If you have a tie, choose one
In your corners (if a large group break in to smaller groups of 2-3) discuss the following:
Do you agree or disagree with the description of your dominate personality type? Why or why not?
If the saying “opposites attract” is true, what other personality type would compliment yours if you were working together? Why?
Now, get in to groups of 2-3 with a different personality type (someone from another corner) and discuss:
Which of the four do you feel that you personally would work best with? Why?
Which of the four would be the most difficult to work with? Why?

8. WHAT IF….
What if you and your team were given the task to come u with a new idea to improve PCMS and you were going to have to present to Mrs. Bailey, how could your different personality types complement each other during this task?
If you were to be given the tasks of delivering this presentation, how could your different personality types complement each other during this task?
