Decision Making A decision is a choice. You always have a choice.
Your values, goals, priorities, needs and wants all affect your decisions. Whether your decisions are simple or complex, you still use the decision making process.

Identify problem List all the alternatives Discuss/ list alternatives and what consequences each has. Form a plan Act Evaluate

Consequences Every decision has a consequence!
Some are good, some are bad. Always accept responsibility for your decisions. You did it, own it.

Peer Pressure Influence your peers have on you.
Peers are the people who are the same age as you or at the same point in the life cycle. Conformity is where you look and act like other members of a group. Some takes places in cliques: group of people that exclude other people.

Behaving in ways that can harm you or others. Behaving in a beneficial way towards you or others.

Activity Find a partner. Sit next to that partner. Go now!
On 1 sheet of paper per partner group, with both names on it, write a skit role-playing the following activities. A teen being influenced by negative peer pressure. A teen saying no to negative peer pressure. A teen being influenced by positive peer pressure. You MAY have to act out your skits.
