For Surveys 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5: Students will be reported if grade level is PK-12 and Student’s Primary exceptionality is not “Z” or “blank” Only students enrolled in valid schools will be reported. Also, students enrolled in School 3518 will only report if the student has an active IEP. Students with an active ESE Ed Plan during reporting period, but dismissed prior to reporting period, will not be treated as ESE student. Resident District must match District of Current Instructional School for student’s record to pull Student must be enrolled in a Program in addition to having an IEP. For Survey 4, students reporting a virtual course may also report the corresponding ESE Student record that would have been reported during Surveys 2/3 even if student is not ESE as of Survey 4

District is responsible for creating codes specific to school year

18 FEFP When calculating FTE, FEFP numbers are identified based on the following hierarchy:

19 Cost Factors Cost Factors are looked at for two purposes:
1. To determine if an ESE student with specific cost factors of “251”, “252”, or “253” will automatically assign a FEFP number of 111, 112, or 113 to the ESE Student based on grade level 2. Cost factors are referenced when overlapping minutes are found for existing courses. If there are overlapping minutes, the minutes are awarded to the course with the higher Cost Factor (FEFP Weight)
