2. What should the colonists do about the Intolerable Acts?
Obey the acts and wait for Britain to repeal (cancel) them
Negotiate for a fairer set of laws with Parliament
Boycott all British goods and stop importing goods from Britain

5. Revere bravely traveled on horseback through Massachusetts towns to warn colonists to prepare for a British attack.
Two lanterns meant that the British were coming by sea. This mattered because the colonists had to prepare for a British arrival.
The fate of whether the colonies would become an independent country (the U.S.) depended on Revere’s ride.
This makes Revere seem more heroic because he appears to be warning Massachusetts colonists all by himself.

7. The Shot Heard ‘Round the World
They were the first battles of the Revolutionary War, which was the break-up of the colonies and the British. This war would have a major impact on the entire world.
