The French and Indian War
The French and Indian war started in and ended in 1764. The war lasted for ten years. At first the French and Indians were winning the war but Great Brittan came back and won the war. After Great Brittan won the war they gave the land that they were fighting for right back to the Indians.

Proclamation of 1763 The proclamation of 1763 was when Great Brittan would not let the colonist go west of the Appalachian mountains. After 10 years of the French and Indian War, they gave the land back to native americans.

<3 the stamp act<3 The Stamp Act was when Great Brittan taxed paper goods (news paper, cards and marriage license) Great Brittan made the law in 1765 Colonist were mad because great Brittan were taxing them for things they use every day Great Brittan made the law because they were in huge dept In our time period it would be about 30 billion dollars.

the quartering Act The Quartering Act was made in the same year as the Stamp Act 1765. The Quartering Act really frustrated the colonist. Because Great Brittan sent over soldiers to protect them from the Indians. Plus the colonist had to provide food shelter and a place to sleep and transportation. The colonist didn't even want them there.

The Boston massacre The Boston massacre happened on March the 5,1770
It all started when a lobster back was guarding a custom home and colonist started to surround the guard the guard called for help and other soldiers came the soldiers all amid there gun the captain said don’t fire but one swore they herd fire so they shot then every one shot. 5 were killed 6 were wounded

The Boston tea party The Boston Tea Party was when colonist dressed as Mohawk Indians and dumped 90,000 pounds of tea off the boat in to the harbor. The date of this day was December 16,1773 The colonist did not want to pay the tax on tea so they dumped all the tea from 3 ships into the Boston harbor.
