We will make salt dough ornaments!

2. Vocab: Salt Flour Warm Water Mix Decorations or Ornaments Ribbon
Christmas

3. Supplies: Flour Salt Warm Water Plastic to cover tables Mixing bowls
Paint or food coloring
Ribbon (Any Color)
An oven or toaster over
Thumbnail sheets and pencils

4. Directions: Draw Thumbnail Sketches for ornament ideas. Make Dough:
Mix, 1 Cup Flour+1/2Cup Salt +1/2 Warm Water
Add food coloring to dough and mix together
or leave plain and paint later.
4. Shape and mold dough to create ornament. Using a skewer or straw, make a hole at the top of ornament.
5. Bake dough at 250°F for 2-3hrs until hard, let cool.
6. Paint and let dry, thread ribbon through top and tie in a bow. Finished!
