2 Statistics The population of Japan is 127.5 million people.
The area of Japan is 377,864 sq km.

3 Statistics The capital of Japan is Tokyo.
The major cities in Japan are Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Yokohama. The climate of Japan is varies from subtropical to temperate.

4 Geography Landforms are rugged mountainous islands.
Natural Resources are negligible mineral resources, and fish. The bodies of water are North Pacific Ocean and Sea of Japan

5 Culture The language spoken in Japan is Japanese.
The religions of Japan are Shintoist and Buddhist 84% Other 16%(including Christian 0.7%) A holiday in Japan is the New year’s celebration. They also celebrate Children’s Day.

6 Culture Dress: Kimono and for men is pants and a shirt.
Food: Sushi, sushi rice, lnari-zushi and kappa-maki-zushi.

7 Landmarks Famous Place : Motsuji Temple Jodo Garden is in Hiraizumi Town. Famous Place : Ritsurin Park is in Takamatsu City.

8 Transportation Shinkansen are express trains that travel 250 kilometers and 300 kilometers per hour. Shinkansen has six routes that spread from Tokyo and Osaka. Japan’s major cities have subway lines. The train is clean because nobody colors on it and nobody makes it dirty.
