Noun and Adjective Suffixes
We can add an ending (called a suffix) to a word to change it to a verb, adjective, or a noun. Some verbs you will see in Scene 2 can be made into adjectives by adding these endings: -ed, -ing, -ant, -able. Some verbs you will see in Scene 2 can be made into nouns by adding these endings: -tion, -sion, -ation, -ance, -ment. Let’s see what they mean…
