2. The Product 1. Must demonstrate 15 hours (minimum) of effort.
2. Must connect to the topic of the paper completed in the junior year.
3. Must take “research on the road.”
4. Must be documented with time logs, pictures, journals, etc.

3. Common Products Models Documentaries Websites
Scales (to demonstrate two sides of an issue)
Service learning/job shadowing with scrapbook

4. Presentation Encompasses information about the research and product
Should be between 5-7 minutes.
Is followed by an informal “show and tell” time when students may showcase their product and answer questions from the judges.
Students are evaluated on content, use of time, eye contact, posture, and ability to respond to questions.

5. Portfolio Includes Title page Table of Contents Resume
Letter to the Review Board
Copy of junior paper
Speech outline
Reflection on senior process
Support documents: in-class activities, time logs, pictures, etc.
