Science Course Description
In our Sixth grade Science curriculum, the students will be studying and understanding the complexities of our world. They will come to appreciate the necessary steps involved in the scientific process. They will explore some basic components of life science, physical science, and earth science. This will consist of a study of energy, forces and motion; a study of earth’s dynamic systems; and lastly a study of structure and function of cells. They will come to the understanding that all of these studies of science revolve around the idea of interconnecting systems, and if any part of these systems is altered or destroyed, it will have a detrimental effect on our lives
