1. Paradise Magic League: Rules and Regulations

2. Seasons
The league timeline will be broken into month long seasons. These will be very month, with this first one extending until Winter break.
Example: Feb 1-March 1

3. Awards The Top player from each season will win the best prize (TBA).
The Top 2-5 players from each season will win a prize (TBA).
Players ranked 6-10 will also received a prize (TBA).
Rankings will restart after each season, but will be used for the Paradise Magic Championship Tournament in May.

4. Day to Day
Each day players can choose to play whoever they want in a best of 3 game. When the game ends either 2-0 or 2-1, the two players must sign a note card with the results and their names. These cards will be turned into Mr. Nichols at the end of league that day.
At the end of the week rankings will be posted. These will take into account 50% W/L and 50% quality of opponent played.

5. For example Colton: 10-5 Average Opponent Quality: .550
Vincent: Average Opponent Quality: .350
In the above scenario Colton will be the higher ranked player.

6. Tournaments
Seeding for tournaments will use the season ladder rankings. Tournament results will factor into overall season ranking as a tie breaker between similarly ranked players:
Example:
Anthony: A.O.Q: Tourn: 1 Top 4
Ethan: A.O.Q: Tourn: 1 Top 8

7. Player Rules
Cheating will result in a immediate forfeit of all season wins and other accomplishments.
Players are responsible for making their plays clear to their opponents and allowing an opponent time to ‘respond’ to moves.
Questions on ruling should be brought to Mr. Nichols or Mrs. Holmes when they happen.

8. Future Tournament Formats
Modern: Any card with a black border
Legacy: Any card ever.
Commander: 1 commander (must be legendary creature, creatures and spells in the deck must have a color that the commander has), 1 of each card max, except for basic land.
Two Headed Giant: 2v2, modern format.

9. Banned Card List
To be voted by the league members. Must be wildly broken and ruining the fun of the league.
