A “teacher” and “evangelist”, grasping inspired teaching which was heard from others is empowered to impart doctrine based upon these received truths (2 Tim. 1:13, 2:2, 3:10) The Gift of God Hold to the pattern of sound words – heard from me Things heard from me among many witnesses commit to faithful men… Timothy followed Paul’s teaching…

He is experiencing “timidity” – will hamper his ministry of teaching and spreading the Gospel ( 2 Tim. 1:7, Rev. 21:8, Eph. 6:20, 2 Tim. 1:15)

He is experiencing “timidity” – will hamper his ministry of teaching and spreading the Gospel (2 Tim. 1:7, Rev. 21:8, Eph. 6:20, 2 Tim. 1:15) He needs not be “ashamed of Gospel” nor “ashamed of Paul’s imprisonment” (2 Tim. 1:8,12,16)

Keep Teaching – give yourself wholly to the work (I Timothy 4:14-15, Rom. 12:7, I Peter 4:9-11) Suffering temporal hardship is worth it in light of eternity ahead of us (2 Timothy 1:8-10, Rom. 8:18) Keep Stirring The Gift Today… God can guard His word for generations to come – Will we guard it with Him while we have it committed to us (2 Tim. 1:14, I Tim 6:20, 2 Tim. 1:12)
