PPA Coaches A small part of the grant supports the payment of coaches to deliver PE lessons to the children. In total this costs £13,104, with £2,031 of the sports grant being used to fund this. The curriculum is broad and enables children to access high quality expert coaching across a range of disciplines. As this has been in place for some time children will continue to develop skills and will have more opportunities to participate in events and other extra-curricular activities. Milton Park Primary School works with the Portsmouth School Sports Partnership which is based at Priory School Sports College to support the delivery of high quality sports Lunchtime Clubs Each day different year groups are offered the opportunity to participate in a lunchtime club. To futher enhance children’s interest and develop healthy lifestyles, we currently offer Judo for KS1 and KS2, Multiskills for KS2 and a Change for Life club for KS1 £5,184 is spent on funding this. SPORTS FUNDING 2017 – 2018 Total Received: £9,663 Total Spent: £20,736 We currently offer 2 after school clubs through the funding. These are both multiskills based and are linked to the competition calender, ensuring that children are well prepared for inter-school competition. £2,448 is spent on funding the after school clubs.
