Some We use ‘some’ to talk about more than one object.
We use ‘some’ before the plural of an object. e.g. There are some bananas. There are some potatoes. We use ‘some’ when we don’t know how many there are. e.g. There are some grapes.

Do you want …? We use ‘Do you want …?’ to make a question.
We use a plural noun with a question. Do you want… some bananas? some pears? some potatoes? some mangoes? some sandwiches? some peaches? some cherries? some strawberries?

Do you want …? We use ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ to answer ‘Do you want …?’ questions. e.g. Do you want some strawberries? Yes, please. No, thank you.
