Controlling the Enlarger
Starts with learning how to control the timer ON/ OFF SWITCH FOCUS ON/ TIMER ON ENLARGERS PLUG INTO TIMER>>>> TIMER INTO POWER OUTLET MINUTE/ SECOND HANDS

KEEP PAPER SAFE FROM LIGHT BY KEEPING IT IN PHOTO BOX @ ALL TIMES- DO not OPEN in CLSSROOM

Before you begin working at the enlarger…
Before you begin working at the enlarger….. CHECK OVER THE EQUIPMENT & Your Supplies…. STEP 1: make sure paper is placed safely under enlarger baseboard in the basket STEP 2: negative carrier placed properly in between enlarger head and lens STEP 3: Make sure enlarger head is down. (no light leaking around sides) STEP 4: focus on the brightest- print one click up from the dimmest (f/11 or f/16) STEP 5: Locate timer on/off switch. Locate focus on/time on switch STEP 5: Test Strip (5 sec. intervals) & develop STEP 6: Expose print
