The Saxon wordlist is attached. Your student will receive a new one every week. Please review these words daily and send the list back on Friday. The students will be assessed on their ability to read these words. They should have been taught the necessary sounds and strategies needed to decode and read these words.
A student who completes their reading log every week of the month will receive a certificate for a personal pizza at Pizza Hut (Russell’s usually will honor these as well).
Ice Cream Sales: My class will be able to purchase ice cream from the lunch room on Wednesdays and Fridays. The cost is 75 cents. We will keep the ice cream in our freezer to have at snack time that afternoon. Please send money your student’s red folder.
