3 Three options to fulfill your major requirement
Internship (SOCI3398) Co-op (SOCI3396) Study Abroad (SA4490) All three options require some level of adminstrative approval

4 Internship Engaging in experiential learning at an organization relevant to sociology Many work organizations Most volunteer organizations May be paid or unpaid Minimum one semester commitment

5 Co-operative Similar to an internship, but oriented to those who are working full-time or significant hours at a position appropriately linked to sociology and/or career goals Must be a paid position Minimum two semester commitment

6 Study Abroad Confer with your advisor
Some study abroad programs are offered through the Sociology department. Typically occurring in the summer over a several week period.
