Appearance- Body Male lions have manes, female do not.
Lions weigh about 500 pounds. All lions have light brown fur.

Habitat- Where? Lions live in savannas in Africa and Asia.
They usually have tall grass and trees around then.

Food Lions eat zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, and gazelles.
Almost all of the pride attacks the prey. Males do not hunt.

Lifecycle- Reproduction
Female lions give birth to 2-4 cubs at one time. Lions live years in the wild.

Other Interesting Facts
Lions are the only wildcats that live together in groups. They can jump forward up to 40 feet. The roar of a lion can be heard from 5 miles away. Males with darker manes are more likely to attract females. Lions are the national animal of Albania, Belgium, England, and more countries.
