ETCF II objectives To increase mutual knowledge and understanding between the business community in the EU and in Turkey To ensure a stronger awareness of the opportunities as well as the challenges of Turkey’s potential accession to the EU

EU Training Programme 6 seminars on EU Affairs for 50 Turkish Chamber executives In cooperation with a Turkish university 2 to 3 consecutive days once the month Courses on EU topics of specific importance for Turkish Chambers Faculty Rewarding programme (certificate and EU expert data base) Launch next spring

EU acquis audit Consultancy programme for Turkish Chambers to assist companies in the implementation of specific EU legislation 6 checklists drafted by 4 EU experts Selection and training of 25 Turkish experts Selection of 250 Turkish companies Company visits Checklists filled by the companies Publication of the analytical report end of 2012 / beginning of 2013

March 2012: Belgium Chambers on agro-food packaging Summer 2012: Austrian Chamber on internationalisation and vocational training October 2012: Paris CCI + another French local Chamber on support to SMEs Beginning of 2013:Polish CCI on innovation and internationalisation Objectives: To increase the institutional capacity of Turkish Chambers To enhance the understanding and knowledge on Turkey within the European business community 4 to 5 days Selection of the Turkish participants
