Fig Venn diagram demonstrates the distribution of antiplatelet therapy in the anticoagulation group (AG). All patients were taking warfarin: warfarin alone, 36 patients; additional aspirin alone, 15 patients; aspirin + thienopyridine, 22 patients; thienopyridine without aspirin, 2 patients; total thienopyridine, 9 patients (7 on clopidogrel, 2 on ticlopidine).
