LO3: Store and present your digital entry
You need to complete the following tasks in order to effectively create the digital image for ‘Progress Media’.
Assignment Tasks (P, M, D) 1
Read over the assignment brief provided by ‘Progress Media’. You have been asked to create a Digital Image and will need to:
Specify a solution for the competition
Create your competition entry
Store and present your digital entry
In Learning Outcome 3, Store and present your image(s):
You will need to store your files, so they can be easily located
Present your image(s) in an appropriate format
Target Audience
Appropriate Software
Clear Evidence
Appropriate Choices

3. Learning Outcome 3 – Task 1
LO3: Be able to store, retrieve and present digital images
You need to complete the following tasks in order to effectively create the digital image for ‘Progress Media’.
Task 1 (P, M, D)
You now need to store, retrieve and present your digital image(s). 1
Provide evidence of storing the digital image(s) used for the working files and final output.
This should include reference to:
Naming of files and folders
Description of the various file formats stored
Merit and Distinction 2
Provide evidence of appropriate names and suitable file formats used for working files and final output.
Distinction 3
Provide evidence of effective and consistent names and appropriate file formats used for working files and final output.
Good Names and Location

You need to complete the following tasks in order to effectively create the digital image for ‘Progress Media’.
Task 2 (P, M, D)
You now need to store, retrieve and present your digital image(s). 1
Use a presentation to Present your final image(s) to the client.
This should include consideration of:
Final Image and why it is appropriate
Review of how your image meets the success criteria
Merit and Distinction 2
Present your final image(s) clearly indicating the effects of size, resolution, medium and colour.
Distinction 3
The presentation should be effective with accurate information and the impact of the file formats on image size and quality.
