Reading:
using text features in nonfiction texts to ask and answer questions about the text
Writing: writing facts, questions and answers using illustrations from a text
Spelling: short o words; focus on consonants d, l, h, and ll
Social Living: learning about the relationship between baby animals and their mothers
Math: count on strategy and identifying equal number sentences & turn around facts
Test Folders will be going home on Wednesday. Please review your child’s work, sign, and return the next day!
At-Home Practice
Practice basic math facts using flash cards or factmonster.com.
Practice sight words each night.
Read nightly and complete the reading log.
