2 Market Day Details THURSDAY, January 31st Period 5-6
Central Idea: “Social Enterprises consider purpose and market forces when creating products and services.” THURSDAY, January 31st Period 5-6 Cost: Approximately 60,000 Camille- In grade 4 we have been working hard at learning about how to run our own social enterprise. A social enterprise is a business that uses its profits to goes towards taking action for a particular cause. At the end of our Child’s Rights unit we all identified the one that we wanted to take action to help. With others in our class who also want to focus on the same child right we came up with our social enterprise. We will be making a variety of goods and services and selling them to YOU! Market Day is on the 31st of January (2 weeks!) during period 5 and 6. Please bring money with you that day to go shopping and help support a lot of different causes!

8 Fruit Bar Types of juice: Watermelon, Lemon, Pineapple, multi juice and fruit sticks with seasonal fruit. “See the world in your hands.” Profits will go to a local school in hanoi.
