Option A: Summarize how this is part of the “The Crossing/Return Threshold”, and it should only be one sentence; however, it may be a compound-complex sentence where you are able to summarize this part of the journey. Then, look at your chart, and use the terminology that will help you analyze this part of the journey. You may discuss the wisdom that is gained by the hero along the quest and how this wisdom changes the hero (He gained wisdom…SO WHAT!?!?). How does the hero integrate this wisdom into his/her previous life or how does the hero share this wisdom with the rest of the world. Another option is to discuss how the theme and the way that is revealed in this part of the journey (what struggles, transformation, achievements, or life lessons are gained by the hero?). Finally, you will want to EVALUATE how well the author creates this part of the journey. Do you think the stage of the journey is effective? Why or why not?
