2 ADEPT Performance Standards (APS)
The ten APSs for classroom-based teachers are grouped into four domains: Planning Instruction Environment Professionalism

4 ADEPT Vocabulary APS 1 & 10 have five elements each;
APS 2-9 have three elements each; Hence, there are 34 key elements.

6 Grading: 34 level 3 (“competent”) = grade of A 30-33 level 3* = grade of A or B *with appropriate distribution

Obtaining and analyzing student information and using this information to guide instructional planning Establishing appropriate learning and developmental goals for all students Identifying and sequencing appropriate instructional units Developing appropriate processes for evaluating and recording students’ progress and achievement Planning appropriate procedures for managing the classroom Domain 1: Planning
