2 Last accessed October 8th 2015. These photo’s all use the rule of third. The rule of third is a really basic tool that most people who study photography will know about. The rule of third is like imagining breaking up a photo into thirds, both horizontally and vertically so you have 9 parts altogether. It makes the main points of the photo stand out and makes it all fit so things aren’t out of focus. Last accessed October 8th 2015. Last accessed October 8th 2015.

Within the top row of pictures the beach like ones show the horizontal lines in the sea and the sand, it makes the photo really calming and makes you really focus on what is taking place in the picture .The second pictures shows you the different ways the horizontal lines can go. Photographers use vertical lines because it really shows the image and its features and the way it all contrasts together. Last accessed October 8th 2015. Last accessed October 8th 2015.

All these photo’s use diagonal lines, the reason photographers take pictures with diagonal lines is because it is really interesting and it really draws you in, the effects that the diagonal lines give is really effective, and I also like the fact that the images have different effects on them some in colour some in black and white. Where the points of the line intersect also really intrigues the viewer. Last accessed on October 8th 2015.

With vertical lines it can show the strength and power of an image, for example having things like tree growth shows the growth of nature, having things like buildings really shows height and power of a photograph. The reason photographers use balanced shot is because it really makes the image really eye-catching and shows all the features of when an object is balancing and how it looks and the effect it brings, it makes pictures look more interesting and intriguing. 7 Last accessed October 8th 2015. Last accessed October 8th 2015. All these photo’s are dynamic shots, the reason photographers do dynamic shots is because they like to catch things in action and to make use of the shutter speed really. You can really get amazing photo’s when doing dynamic shots, one’s that stand out better from the rest. Last accessed on October 8th 2015. Last accessed October 8th 2015.
