3. MASS Expressed in grams or kilograms
Does not change no matter where you are
Measured using a triple beam balance or an electronic balance
Amount of matter in an object

4. INERTIA
Inertia is the tendency of an object to resist a change in motion. (We will revisit this later in the year.)
Mass is a measure of inertia. The more mass something has, the greater the inertia.

5. Weight Amount of the gravitational force exerted on an object.
