Two-Absolute Brush Strokes
An ABSOLUTE adds visual description to your writing An absolute is a noun with a participle (-ing verb) partner Use 2 absolutes, with a comma after each one, to brighten up a boring detail

Two-Absolute Brush Stroke EXAMPLE #1:
Target sentence: The crowd cheered. Target sentence with 2 absolutes: Voices booming, arms flailing, the crowd cheered.

Target sentence: The kitten hunted bugs. Target sentence with 2 absolutes: Tail bobbing, nose twitching, the kitten hunted bugs.

Target sentence: The athlete scored. Target sentence with 2 absolutes: Muscles rippling, pride soaring, the athlete scored.
