Kindergarten is a wonderful time in a child’s life
Kindergarten is a wonderful time in a child’s life. Not only are they learning the foundations of education, but they are also learning the foundations for life. With that said, it is expected that the students will Show up ready to learn Be respectful to their peers, teachers, and school environment Use only kind words and always play fair Listen and follow all directions When our whole class is showing outstanding behavior, the class will receive a handful of gems into our gem jar. Once we work together as a class to fill the jar, we will receive a class prize. If a particular student or students are showing outstanding behavior, he/she will receive a ticket for their ticket bag. Once a month a student receives an opportunity to spend their tickets at the ticket prize store.

Each night your student will bring home a clear folder.
I have labeled one pocket “keep at home”, papers found in this pocket are for you and your family to keep and enjoy as you please. The other pocket is labeled “bring back to school”, in this pocket you will find forms that are required to be signed and returned. This pocket will also hold your child’s nightly homework assignments. Every morning when the students arrive they are expected to move their lunch clip, hang up the belongings, and bring their clear folder to their desks for me to check.
