4. And when the hour came, he reclined at table, and the apostles with him. And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 
Luke 22:14,15

5. For I tell you I will not eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

6. And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, “Take this, and divide it among yourselves. For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

7.  And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

8.  And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

9. We remember that we have been saved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

10.  And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—

11.  among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

12.  But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—

13.  and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

14. For by grace you have been saved through faith
 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

15. Our past no longer determines our present or our future.

16. We remember that we have been saved and redeemed for a purpose.

17.  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10

18. We remember that we have been saved and redeemed to enjoy eternity with Christ.

19.  On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples     a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,     of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.

20.  And he will swallow up on this mountain     the covering that is cast over all peoples,     the veil that is spread over all nations.

23.  Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

24. For the church, our past is redeemed, our present has purpose and our future in eternity with Christ is secured.
