I am so excited to be your 3rd grade teacher. It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. This will be my second year teaching at Neil Armstrong Elementary. I have so much planned and I cant wait to get to know you and your family.
About me..
I started out teaching pre-k and I love to see my students inspired and ready to learn. I’m from Corpus Christi, TX and moved to San Antonio for school. I have a bachelors from UTSA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I love spending my weekends with my husband and our Yorkie, Milo.

2. Homework
Homework will begin on the second week of school. I would like to take the first week to get to know the students, and allow them to get
over that “first-week tiredness”. The students will be expected to
read a passage and answer 6 questions, spelling, and complete 8
questions in math nightly.
I will not be sending homework on weekends and when the students have taken district benchmarks. However towards the end of third semester the homework may increase to better prepare the students for the STAAR. Students that accomplish their homework every night, usually do better. I look forward to working with you on this and thank you for the support at home.
**If student is in risk of failing more homework may be added and tutoring will be discussed at parent conference.**
