2 DENSITY Is a property of matter.
Density tells how tightly packed the atoms or molecules of a material are. Can be measured in either g/mL, g/cm3 or kg/m3. is usually measured in g/mL (for liquids) or g/cm3 (for solids).

3 DENSITY The density of a material is the same no matter what the size or the shape of the material. Liquids tend to be less dense than solids of the same material Water is an exception.

4 Density Formula used to calculate density D = m
V Where D = density (measured in g/cm3) m = mass (measured in g) And V= volume (measured in cm3)
