Older Persons The group applied the process by looking at the specific paragraphs of recommendation 202 Paragraph 13(2) South Africa has National Policies Paragraph 14(d) People retire at the ages of sixty years or sixty-three years of age Paragraph 15 More and More aged people start participating in the informal sector to substitute their meagre income Paragraph 16 Should be placed in the category of people with special needs.

People living with HIV Older person are very few found to be living with HIV but they have the following burdens placed on them. They have to look after the orphans often also living with HIV of their children that has passed away with Aids. They have to look after their children of the active age living with HIV They therefore should receive additional benefits such as child and family benefits and Health care benefits. Although they do receive old age benefits without the above assistance their funds will be exhuasted.
