A person contains about 100 trillion cells. That’s 100,000,000,000,000 or 1 x 1014 cells.
There are about 200 different cell types in mammals (one of us).

7. Schlieden:
Studied plants
In 1838 concluded that all plants were made of cells
Schwann studied animals, concluded that all animals were made of cells
Virchow-1855 put it all together and said all things made of cells and all cells come from cells
