2. Grades: Marking period grades will be based on:
Homework = 5% Work ethic = 10%
Quizzes = 25% Classwork = 30%
Tests = 30%
Final Average
Average of the marking periods = 90%
Final Projects (Exam) = 10%

3. Books
Brand New – so cover them & take care of them- all damage will be from you!
There should be enough for a class set in the classroom, so leave them home
Reading a text book is not like reading your favorite magazine, novel or comic book SO
We will work on strategies to help you take notes from reading

4. Extra help is available:
After school Tuesday thru Thursday usually until 3:00
Friday or later arrangements may be possible when planned in advance
