2 Fig 1 Five-year survival rate for patients who underwent an extended segmentectomy for small lung tumors. The follow-up period was 47.2 ± 11 months (mean ± SD). In the 3 patients who died, the first site of recurrence was an adjacent segment (1), bilateral pulmonary nodules (2), and contralateral pulmonary nodules (3).
