Delegated powers-powers directly granted by the Constitution Expressed powers/ “enumerated powers” Examples: Coin Money, armed forces

Elastic clause Examples- highways, ending racial discrimination

Inherent powers- federal powers of a sovereign country
Examples- immigration, acquiring territory
