Result global inventory: 80 % of variables available
Refinement inventory and start classification of variables

CITY = Gemeente
LUZ: NUTS 3 as proxy
 Availability of data
 NUTS 3 based on commuting (stability analysis)
 Result analysis Eurostat criterion (50% living in urban region):
- 7 cities: one NUTS 3 region each
- 2 cities: two NUTS 3 Region each
- 1 city: does not satisfy criterion

10. Achievements so far: Typology at Sub-City level
Size of local settlement (five types)
Typology based on demographic and socio-economic characteristics for each size type separately
Method: factor analysis followed by clustering analysis
