The “spirit” with which we add them is equally important

Notice the word “abound” v. 8
“Diligence” = an all-out effort (the opposite of being “half-hearted”)
Timothy was a “diligent” young person
“Well spoken of by the brethren” Acts 16:2

Young people will have hindrances to overcome if they are to be “diligent”

He gave us His Son so we might be saved and live with Him in eternity
Let us not neglect our service to Him
